• Payment Setup Data: To facilitate tips, we collect creator payment links, such as PayPal email addresses, Stripe donation URLs, or custom payment instructions (e.g., bank transfer or UPI details). We do not ask for, process, or store credit card numbers or sensitive banking passwords on our servers.
• Transaction Data: Records of support sent and received, amounts, and dates to maintain an accurate account history.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the platform, including device information and IP addresses.

3. Payment Processing & Gateways

TipEnjin uses a secure, redirect-based payment model. We do not use direct payment APIs that require us to handle your financial data. Instead:

• Third-Party Processors: All actual payments are processed entirely on the secure platforms of our third-party payment gateways, such as PayPal and Stripe.
• Gateway Limit: For security and simplicity, each creator can link a maximum of 3 payment gateways to their profile.
• Custom Options: Creators may provide manual instructions for custom payment options (like direct bank transfers). TipEnjin is not responsible for the security of transactions completed outside of our integrated third-party gateways.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the features and functionality of the platform.
• Display your connected payment links securely to your supporters so they can fund you directly.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support requests.
• Monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.

5. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. Because we do not process payments directly, your sensitive financial data is protected by the advanced security protocols of PayPal and Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can manage your profile details and connected payment gateways directly within your account settings. You may also request the closure of your account, which will restrict access to your data and remove your profile from public view.
